Insurance

My practice is private pay (fee-for-service), which means I do not accept insurance or participate in managed care networks. However, provide monthly superbills that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on the specifics of your plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use my insurance?
While I don’t accept insurance directly, many clients with out-of-network benefits receive partial reimbursement for sessions. It’s a good idea to check with your insurance provider about your specific coverage.

What is a superbill?
A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes all the information your insurance company typically requires to process a claim for out-of-network services.

How do I find out if I have out-of-network benefits?
Call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health coverage?

  • What percentage of the fee is reimbursed?

  • Is there a deductible I need to meet first?

  • Do I need pre-authorization?

Payment & Cancellation Policy

Payment is due at the time of each session and can be made by cash, check, credit card, debit card, or PayPal.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. Missed sessions or late cancellations without prior notice will be charged the full session fee, unless we mutually determine that you were unable to attend due to an emergency or unforeseen circumstance beyond your control.
